A free, volunteer-driven newspaper serving the Dartmouth community for over 20 years.
The North Dartmouth Echo is a locally written newspaper dedicated to sharing the good news happening right here in our community. From neighbourhood success stories to events that bring us together, we shine a light on the people, projects, and moments that make Dartmouth North so special.
The Echo distributes thousands of copies throughout Dartmouth North, downtown Dartmouth, and Woodlawn, 3-5 times a year.
The Echo printed its first issue in 2004 and continues to be an important source of information and community pride.

We also offer valuable advertising opportunities for local businesses, non-profits, and elected representatives!
Driven by volunteers, there are still costs that must be met in order to keep the paper in distribution, which is why advertising dollars are so important.
Ad spaces start as low as $42.00, with many different options for you to select from. We also have a graphic designer available if you’d like us to design your ad—available for $50 an hour.
