Dartmouth Housing Help

The Public Good Society of Dartmouth has worked closely with Welcome Housing & Support Services to establish a community based response to housing needs of the people of Dartmouth, with a particular focus in Dartmouth North. Since the partnership began in 2014 the program has grown, now supporting two Housing Support Workers in the community, Darcy Gillis & Robyn McAuley.

Once COVID allows, the Housing Support Workers will be visible at agencies throughout the Dartmouth region to provide Housing First-type services. Their focus will be on individuals who identify as homeless, or individuals who are living in precarious housing and have challenges regarding housing related issues.
